A Neighborhood on Purpose

In our cohousing community members work together to create a socially rich community that is safe, sustainable, diverse, egalitarian, supportive, attractive and affordable.

Members collaborate to plan and develop their own neighborhood. Homes are owned privately but are deliberately clustered to provide a village-like common space that is protected from vehicle traffic. There is also a common house, which typically includes dining, recreation and childcare facilities and other amenities. In our community there is no effort to establish a religious or philosophical creed; what we share is a desire to live more economically, sustainably, and cooperatively.

Spring Events

As the crocuses and snow drops burst into bloom we are feeling that our community is bursting out in all directions too.

Here's the schedule of events for the next couple of months.

April 3 POTLUCK 6:00 - this is our monthly potluck - a great time for new visitors to meet us and have good food and company.

April 10 Business Meeting 6:30 - 9 pm - visitors are always welcome at our business meetings - listen in and contribute.
April 11 Programming Workshop 3-8 pm - we gather our ideas about the physical form of our future community.

April 25 Business Meeting 6:30 - 9 pm

May 1 POTLUCK 6:00
May 8 Business Meeting 6:30 - 9 pm
May 23 Business Meeting 6:30 - 9 pm
May 30 Extra Sunday - time for some fun!
